Will graduated
from Tulane University School of Law in 1975. Following
graduation, he served as an Assistant District Attorney
for Orleans Parish, successfully prosecuting criminals
charged with serious felonies. In 1978, Will entered
private practice and, for more than 25 years has been
engaged in the practice of admiralty, products liability,
toxic torts, insurance, and medical malpractice defense.
Will has been an active litigator in both the state
and federal courts in Louisiana. He is admitted to
practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts,
the United States Supreme Court, and the United States
Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Will is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association,
the Maritime Law Association of the United States,
and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
Will currently writes the legal news column for
the Ports Association of Louisiana’s monthly
newsletter and is a regular contributor to the Risk
and Insurance Managers’ Society’s monthly
publication. Will has spoken at various maritime
industry, workers' compensation, insurance and casualty
seminars on a variety of subjects.
